Our Church is a UMC Lighthouse Congregation. We are committed to welcoming everyone to the descipleship of Jesus Christ!
Star Church Highlights & Announcements:
- The Flowers this week are given by Susan & Tom Eggleston in honor of Tina Harris.
- Food Pantry Donations: for the month of July, we will be collecting any canned vegetables.
- Fellowship Potluck Meal: Join us after service, for a fellowship meal.
- Teacher Breakfast: August 5th at 8:00 AM in our fellowship hall. Camille sent out teacher wish lists this week and a sign-up sheet will be going around in the coming weeks for the breakfast potluck.
- Blessing of the Backpacks: August 9th during worship All students and school staff are invited to bring their backpacks to place on the altar. We will say a special blessing and hand out backpack tags during our Children’s message
Community Callander:
- Sip & Fellowship: The Star Heritage Committee will be offering coffee in the park the first Saturday of each month from 8:00 AM until they run out at the Star Park.
New Shiloh Holiness Church, Mt. Gilead, will host an Exposition on the Parables event on July 25th at 3:00 PM. Both Marilyn and Pastor Haley will be discussing parables.

A note from the Finance Committee
- Once a month we will pass around the ZOE bucket with the offering plates to help continue to support our friends overseas.
